WHAT WE DO | Binary Biometrics (01001010 Biometrics Inc)

WHAT WE DO

At Binary Biometrics, we are compliance, screening and verification specialists who help all types of companies and individuals comply with local, state and federal laws involving background checks, drug and alcohol screening and who also assist human resource professionals, property managers and real estate investors with limiting and mitigating the potential risks associated with hiring employees and renting property to tenants.

Level II Background Checks

A Level II background check could be required for a number of occupations, including law enforcement and child day care workers. This background check includes examining local and state databases in order to find out if a person has had a criminal conviction in the past. After that, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will conduct a check of national records and then report these results back to the requesting agency. Fingerprints are also taken and compared against national databases in order to determine if someone may have been previously arrested under an alias.

AHCA Fingerprinting

In Florida, the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) oversees the licensing and regulation of medical professionals throughout the state. To obtain a license or employment, many individuals will need to undergo a Level II Background Screening through AHCA fingerprinting. Binary Biometrics Inc. is familiar with the requirements for performing AHCA fingerprinting, and will even come to your school or place of employment to make things easier for you. We also take your photo with your fingerprints to ensure that your records will be retained with the AHCA Clearinghouse meaning that any healthcare-related background check you need for the next five years may be pulled directly from the servers without the need for additional fingerprinting.

Mobile Fingerprinting

Fingerprints can also be needed for a number of reasons that are not related to employment. For example, those who volunteer with certain organizations may need to have fingerprints taken before they will be allowed to do so. When an organization has several people that need fingerprints taken, one way of ensuring this is done in a timely manner is by having Binary Biometrics Inc. do them on site. Doing so is more efficient, and will help save people time as well. What’s more, our service can sometimes be done at around the same (or even lower) cost than our competitors who do not offer a mobile service.

Employee Drug Testing

Some Florida occupations require workers to be drug screened whenever they are hired, and at random intervals afterwards. This is also required of students who are studying in various occupational programs. Drug testing could also be required whenever an employee is injured on the job, and wishes to file a worker’s compensation claim. Binary Biometrics Inc. handles employee drug testing, which can be done at our location or a site you prefer. Either way, the specimens we collect will be handled with the utmost care, so you can be sure the results we report to you will be extremely accurate.

What to Bring

When undergoing AHCA fingerprinting or drug testing with Binary Biometrics, you’ll need to have certain items available before you can undergo testing.  A photo ID will be needed, and this can include a driver’s license, military identification card, passport, state-issued ID card, or a “green card” in addition to one other piece of identification with your name on it. You will also need the contact information (ORI number for background checks) for the agency that is to receive the results of your fingerprint scan or drug test. Finally, you will also need some form of payment unless the requesting party has already made payment arrangements.
